Despite its "strange location" "surrounded by cars and concrete" in an "upcoming area" of Charlotte, surveyors deem this "top-class" "convention hotel" "sumptuous" thanks to its "Southern-friendly" service and "beautiful" rooms with "terrific baths"; though it "caters to business travelers" and the dining is "not up to par", there are still plenty of downtime options, including a spa and golf course.

staff was very friendly, hotel is beautiful
our room was in an undesired location
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I was astonished when the bartender remembered my drink from the previous night. The staff went above my expectations for the hotel and that is saying alot. We felt very welcomed at this hotel. I wish I had brought my golf clubs because the course looked beautiful. ...read more

I loved everything!
This is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It was spectacular! Next time I would like to stay there longer (it was just a weekend trip).

The personalized attention by the staff and very nice room amenities.
Noisy small children running in the halls.
